Meet the Hand Therapy Staff

Hedi M. Bright, OTR/L, OAP-SC, ROT

Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy;  University of New England, Biddeford Maine – 1995;  Orthopedic Allied Professional – Surgery Certified;  Registered Orthopedic Technologist

Hedi has 15 years of experience practicing occupational therapy with a primary focus on upper extremity orthopedics and hand therapy.  She has completed advanced specialty training through a mentorship program with a hand surgeon affording her the opportunity to assist during upper extremity surgeries and provide an advanced level of care following the procedure. Hedi is a Registered Orthopedic Technologist and has worked alongside an orthopedic office providing services for custom casting, bracing and splinting of the upper extremity. Hedi has also completed advanced coursework in wound care, cranio-sacral therapy, myofascial release, lymph drainage, kinesio-taping, and surgical techniques/procedures and therapy of the upper extremity. She has a strong interest in the use of biomechanics and neuromuscular re-education to promote a balanced and functional return to daily living skills. She values educating each patient with a comprehensive therapeutic recovery program based on his or her stage of healing, inclusive of an individualized home program. In addition to her strong clinical skills, Hedi is a Certified Master Signing Time Instructor and Handwriting Without Tears Instructor; serving the special needs of the youngest in our community. She passionatey provides child-centered intervention through a variety of skills sets not limited to: yoga for children with special needs, sensory integration, infant massage, fine motor skills training, and therapeutic treatment/communication skills for children with Down Syndrome. In 2008 Hedi graduated from the NH Leadership Series and is also a volunteer advocate for parents of children with special needs through the NH Parent Information Center. Advocacy, understanding and empowerment fuel her passion in the caring profession, not only as a career, but as a way of life.




Judith Cook, OTR/L

Registered Occupational Therapist/Licensed OTR/L Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy, University of New Hampshire, Durham, NH -1983.

Judy has over 25 years experience in the field of occupational therapy working primarily in the area of outpatient rehab and business and industry. Her business and industry background allows her to share her expertise and provide educational programs to large and small businesses catering to their specific industry. Along with her years of experience and expertise, Judy also provides ergonomic assessments.

Kimberly Grace, PTA/COTA/L
Physical Therapist Assistant/Occupational Therapist Assistant

Associates degree in Physical Therapy, 1989, Associates degree in Occupational Therapy, 1990, New Hampshire Technical College, Claremont, NH.

Kim brings 20 years experience to Summit Health and is unique to a rehab setting because she holds degrees in both physical and occupational therapy. Having both degrees allows her to work extensively in rehab settings and provides her with the opportunity to treat all patients with a holistic approach. She works with a variety of diagnoses from orthopedics, pediatrics, multi-trauma and others. Kim coordinates and schedules Community Night Lectures at Summit Health NH, these lectures educate the community on different healthy life options and opportunities. Kim also works closely with local schools and coordinates for students interested in PT or OT to observe and volunteer at Summit.
