Lisa Charest, PT, I.M.T.C., Founder/Owner

Licensed Physical Therapist in NH, MA, CT. Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy, University of New England, Biddeford, ME -1990. Certified Integrative Manual Therapist, Connecticut School for Integrative Manual Therapy, Bloomfield, CT -2003.


Lisa has 19 years of practice management and patient care experience in all clinical settings. She has a passion for working with athletes with sports related injuries and helping them gain an edge by improving their biomechanics. Lisa founded Summit Health NH in 2000, and since then Summit has grown into one of the most comprehensive patient recommended and doctor referred health & fitness, and rehabilitation organizations in northern New England specializing in Advanced Manual Therapy techniques. Her multi-site, private practice provides physical and occupational therapy with advanced treatment techniques in Integrative Manual Therapy to residents in the Lakes Region, Concord and Hooksett, NH areas.

Dawn Guerin, PT/L, Lead Therapist

Licensed Physical Therapist Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy, University of New England, Biddeford, ME -1997.


Dawn has 12 years of experience in physical therapy and has been with Summit since its opening in 2000. She serves as Lead Therapist at Summit where she coordinates continuing education courses hosted at Summit Health for the Allied Professionals and is in charge of all staff development and employee education. She has advanced coursework through Integrative Manual Therapy in areas including Craniosacral, Lymphatics and Neurofascial release. Dawn also educates and advises patients on solutions to allergies and/or gastrointestinal disorders. She has a strong interest in biomechanics and posture and continues to educate herself on how to heal the body using a total body approach.

Kelly Rogers, OTR/L, CEAS I, Clinical Supervisor

Registered Occupational Therapist/Licensed OTR/L Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy, University of New Hampshire, Durham, NH -1992. Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist I, Back School of Atlanta -2006.


Kelly is an Occupational Therapist and has over 17 years experience. Kelly serves as Clinical Supervisor at Summit Health NH where she is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and implementing Policy and Procedure. She also acts as a liaison with current patients at Summit and is often called upon to educate the community about the many services offered at Summit Health NH. Kelly has a specialty in hand therapy and is a Certified Ergonomic A.S. which provides educational seminars on workplace ergonomics and performs worksite assessments. She works closely with workman’s compensation Nursing Coordinators to ensure patients safe and efficient return to work. Kelly also plays an active role in the safety committee at Summit providing a safe environment for both employees and clients. She also serves as a member of BNI (Business Networking International), promoting the many facets of Summit Health NH.

Deborah A. Chatfield, MPT, B.S. Exercise Physiology, CCRP

Licensed Physical Therapist, Master of Physical Therapy, The Ohio State University, Columbus, OH -2004. Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology, Wright State University, Dayton, OH -2002.


Deborah brings 5 years experience to Summit and is a certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner, is Certified in the Sole Supports System for total contact orthotics and is a yoga instructor at the Rhythms of Life studio. As a Canine Rehab Practitioner, Deb uses the application of rehabilitation principles and techniques to small or large animals to help treat their condition or dysfunction. Being certified in the Sole Supports System allows Deb to make custom foot bed orthotics, the only orthotic that is adjusted to match your weight, flexibility and activity level. The Sole Supports can change your foot posture, correct hip, knee and back posture, and may even reduce an established deformity with regular use.

Judith Cook, OTR/L

Registered Occupational Therapist/Licensed OTR/L Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy, University of New Hampshire, Durham, NH -1983.


Judy has over 25 years experience in the field of occupational therapy working primarily in the area of outpatient rehab and business and industry. Her business and industry background allows her to share her expertise and provide educational programs to large and small businesses catering to their specific industry. Along with her years of experience and expertise, Judy also provides ergonomic assessments.

Kimberly Grace, PTA/COTA/L

Physical Therapist Assistant/Occupational Therapist Assistant

Associates degree in Physical Therapy, 1989, Associates degree in Occupational Therapy, 1990, New Hampshire Technical College, Claremont, NH.


Kim brings 20 years experience to Summit Health and is unique to a rehab setting because she holds degrees in both physical and occupational therapy. Having both degrees allows her to work extensively in rehab settings and provides her with the opportunity to treat all patients with a holistic approach. She works with a variety of diagnoses from orthopedics, pediatrics, multi-trauma and others. Kim coordinates and schedules Community Night Lectures at Summit Health NH, these lectures educate the community on different healthy life options and opportunities. Kim also works closely with local schools and coordinates for students interested in PT or OT to observe and volunteer at Summit.

Heather Leonard, DPT

Licensed Physical Therapist, Masters of Physical Therapy, Franklin Pierce College, Concord, NH -2003. Doctorate of Physical Therapy, Franklin Pierce College, Concord, NH -2007.


Heather has 6 years experience in physical therapy and is currently the Coordinator of the Women’s Health Department at Summit Health. She also serves as a direct link for educating new and existing community practitioners about the resources of Summit Health NH. In addition to her focus work with Women’s Health, her professional interests include an Integrative Manual Therapy Approach to the general orthopedic and neurologic population.

Antoinette “Toni” McGrath, MPT/L

Licensed Physical Therapist, Masters of Physical Therapy, Quinnipiac University, Hamden, CT -2002.


Toni brings 8 years experience to Summit and is currently the Coordinator of the Sports Performance Lab. She conducts performance tests such as
VO2 Max and body composition, and is also a certified aquatic instructor. Toni also maintains the current protocols and recovery plans for Summit based on current orthopedic surgical techniques. Toni’s professional interests include Integrative Manual Therapy and sports related injuries. She enjoys working with athletes of all levels and all age groups.

Gudrun Stanton, PTA, LMT

Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant, Associates in Physical Therapy, Southern Georgia College, GA -1999, Licensed Massage Therapist, Space Coast Institute of Massage Therapy, FL -1996, Vital Kneads Institute of Massage Therapy, NH -2005.


Gudrun has been with Summit since its opening in 2000 and has over 10 years experience in both physical therapy and massage therapy. She specializes in Integrative Manual Therapy which enhances the functional outcomes and goals of physical therapy. She addresses a wide range of diagnoses from TMJ, headache or neck problems, to low back, hip and lower extremity conditions and injuries. She offers a balanced blend of hands-on bodywork along with exercise and education to provide the best comprehensive care for all patients.

Julie Leblanc, PT

Licensed Physical Therapist, Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy, cum laude.  Northeastern University, Boston, MA-1994.


Julie has more than 15 years of clinical experience in multiple physical therapy settings. Her specialties include Deep Tissue Myofascial Release, Manual Therapy and Biomechanics, as well as advanced training in Craniosacral/Cranial therapy, Visceral Manipulation, and Neural Tension techniques from both The Center for Integrative Manual Therapy and The Upledger institute. She currently treats patients with neurological and orthopedics diagnoses, as well as migraines, sciatica, TMJ, fibromyalgia and chronic pain.

Lynne Ainsworth, PT, LMT

 

Licensed Physical Therapist, Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy, cum laude, State University of New York at Buffalo, Buffalo, NY -1992. North Eastern Institute of Whole Health, School of Massage Therapy, Manchester, NH -2003.


Lynne has 17 years experience in physical therapy and has specialized in orthopedic manual therapy for the past 7 years. She integrates a blend of techniques learned through varied continuing education courses in Craniosacral Therapy, Integrated Manual Therapy, Upledger, Kain, as well as many others.


Alison Kirby, PTA

Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant, Associates degree in Physical Therapy, New Hampshire Vocational Technical College of Claremont -1987.


Alison has 22 years experience in physical therapy with a strong background in manual therapy. She is trained at the advanced level in Craniosacral Therapy and has done extensive coursework in manual therapy. She is dedicated to continuing her education and skill development, and using her knowledge and passion for manual therapy to provide all patients with the upmost care.

Susan Toth, PTA

Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant, Associates degree in Physical Therapy, Becker College, Worcester, MA -1992. Licensed Acupuncturist Master of Acupuncture, Academy for Five Element Acupuncture 2005.


Susan brings more than 17 years experience in physical therapy to Summit Health as well as over 4 years experience in acupuncture. She combines her acupuncture training with her physical therapy treatments utilizing Chinese medical theory and acupressure techniques. Her professional interests include Integrative Manual Therapy, women’s health issues and sports related injuries. Susan also offers acupuncture treatment sessions at Summit Health.
